Tangled Threads and Things

Cross stitch with a whole lot of love and a little bit of mess

About Us

Hi! We’re Rhona Norrie and Eirinn Norrie, a cross stitch mother/daughter duo - originally from Scotland and now living in the USA. Our designs have been featured in cross stitch magazines around the world.

If you’ve visited our website before, you’ll notice that things look really different. Based on feedback we received from stitchers, our new site will make make it easier to download any files we share and for you to find content. There are no tabs for you to navigate - simply scroll down. However, we’re just beginning to rebuild, so please give us some grace as we work through the process! You can find more information below about our Stitch Alongs, cross stitch charts, and stitchy videos. Thanks for stopping by!

Stitch Alongs (SALs)

We know it’s taking us a little longer than expected...

But we promise we have a new stitch along coming soon! This new stitch along will NOT be blackwork, but it will be low-commitment and a ton of fun!

Affordable (Adorable) Charts

You can purchase Rhona’s charts on her Etsy as PDF downloads. The latest design is this cute winter fox - isn’t he adorable?!

My (Eirinn) personal favorites from Rhona’s Etsy include her retro caravan bundle (perfect to stitch during the summer!), her highland cow designs, and her farmyard animals.

You may also know that we previously had a Patreon account where you could subscribe and receive charts each month. Currently, our Patreon is on ‘pause’.

If you have any specific charts that you’d love to see designed, let us know and if we can make it happen, we will!

Free Chart!

We hope you enjoy this “Always time for tea” free chart! Click the button below to view and download the chart.

That’s it for now. We will update this webpage soon so please visit back. Have a lovely rest of your week!

Note that we may not always respond right away as we do work full time and raise children, too. :) This is a fun hobby for us, but it’s not our entire life and we do have other obligations :)
